Introduction

Scholarship is a financial support to the students who focus completely on Learning. Especially for students who may be paying for their own tuition, getting a scholarship that eases the burden of studies will help the student focus more while studying.

Scholarship for Postgraduate Programs

The Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) offers 100% tuition fee waiver in the form of merit scholarships on the basis of academic excellence. These scholarships will be awarded to:

1. Top five position holders (HSSC Exams) from any Board within the province of Punjab
2. Students scoring three A+ grades in their A- level Examinations

Need-based scholarship / financial assistance is given by ICBS at the time of admission to the outstanding students who are not able to pay their fees due to financial constraints on the recommendations of Scholarship Committee.

Those students, who require need-based scholarships, should submit an application on prescribed form to the Deputy Treasurer along with the following documents:

1. Evidence of Documents father’s/guardian’s income, for example, authenticated salary certificate/pay slip
2. Evidence of property, if any, owned by self/father/guardian
3. Evidence of agricultural property and income
4. Copies of utility bills for the last six months
5. Copy of bank statement, in case of income from business
6. Copy of rent agreement in case of rented house or in case of income from house-rent
7. Copies of fee slips of brothers and sisters in case they are students
8. Any other document that may be asked for, by the office of the Registrar
After the scrutiny of applications and interview, the Scholarship Committee will recommend percentage of Scholarship.

Final approval in this regard will be given by the Rector ICBS. The Treasurer’s office will inform applicants about the decision of their applications through
emails/phone calls and display on the notice board, the % age of scholarship

Hafiz-e-Quran applicant is awarded extra marks as per Government of Punjab policy / Accreditation Council policy. Those students, who require scholarships on Hafiz-e-Quran, should submit an application on prescribed form to the Registrar office along with Mustanad / Valid Sanad from a recognized Madrasa.

Hafiz-e-Quran applicant will appear for the interview.
Committee will decide about the award of marks as well as Scholarship.

ICBS is committed to the objective that no one should be denied access to higher education in Pakistan, which includes ensuring that people with disabilities have equal opportunities to access and attain higher education.
The applicant should submit an application with admission forms in which he/she will clearly explain the mode of disabilities and his/her need (Disability certificate Verified from Medical Superintendent / government Medical Officer).

Applicants will submit to the Accessibility Committee of ICBS, which will provide necessary support during the application, interview, and entrance test process for students with disabilities. The students, who are applying, can get up to 50% scholarship on the recommendation of Accessibility Committee and with final approval given by the Rector.

Note: Being short sighted and hard of hearing does not fall under the definition of disability for admission purpose.

An applicant of Martyred Army / Police Officials (spouse or child) will receive 50% tuition fee waiver.
The applicant for the scholarship of Martyred Army/Police officials should submit the following documents.
1. Certificate of Shahadat proof of GHQ/Police Head Quarter verified from Directorate of Welfare and Rehabilitation (W&R)
2. Pension documents / Book of Widow/Child

The children of Government employees, Armed Forces, and Teachers will receive 35% scholarship.

The applicant should submit following documents for the award of scholarship:
1. Certificate of job verified from relevant office

As per policy of Government of Punjab, ICBS will award the scholarship up to 40- 50 % to the students of FATA, KPK and Balochistan

35% waiver in tuition fee of each student who is the current employee of the MOU Partner of The Imperial College of Business Studies.

The kin of alumni (Brother, Sister, Husband, Wife, Son, and Daughter) are allowed a tuition fee waiver of 30% for all kin.

If the applicant has completed ADP program from ICBS, he/she will be awarded with 50% scholarship.

Up to 100% waiver in tuition fee for outstanding performers in sports.

Note:
A minimum CGPA of 2.5 must be maintained for continuation of scholarship in subsequent semesters.

Merit Scholarship will be awarded to the BS Programs (4 Year Degree programs) on the basis of  BA / BSc (2-years) degree including ADP program.

Note: Students must maintain a 3.0 CGPA for the continuation of scholarship excluding the sports scholarship students.

Scholarships for Graduate Programs

The Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) offers different scholarships at Postgraduate level on the following basis.

Merit Scholarship for MS/ MPhil/ EMBA Studies on the basis of 4 years BS degree

Terms & Conditions of Scholarship
1. If a student fails or is on probation or dropped, the scholarship will automatically stand withdraw without any notification. Students must maintain a 3.25 CGPA for the continuation of scholarship.
2. If a student fails / dropped / freeze or is on probation then the scholarship will automatically be withdrawn.
