Dr.
Asad Kausar was given Alumni Achievement Award for his exceptional
growth and achievements. Dr. Asad Kausar joined the Accounting and
Finance group at Manchester Business School in September 2005 as
a lecturer in Accounting and Finance. Before that he was on a doctoral
scholarship at Cranfield School of Management. He has a PhD in Accounting
and Finance (Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University),
an MA in Accounting and Finance (MSAF, University of Manchester),
an MBA in finance (ICBS. Lahore, Pakistan).
Message
from Dr. Asad Kausar
First
of all I would like to thank the Rector, Faculty and Administration
of the ICBS for selecting me for this award. I am honored
and feel very proud. I am sure this would have been an easy
decision.
ICBS
has had a significant impact in the way my career has turned
out. At ICBS I was encouraged to think deeply, question and
learn more about my fields of interest. All these traits lead
me to further my knowledge in my desired areas. It would not
be incorrect to say that my achievements are partly influenced
and driven by the time I have spent at ICBS where I had a
chance to engage in intellectually beneficial interactions
with some very outstanding faculty members and students. I
would like to thank ICBS for providing this opportunity to
me.
Finally,
I would also like to thank all those (family and friends)
who were there when I needed them the most and without their
love and support this would not have been possible. Thank
you.
