Student Management Club

The primary purpose of IMC is to augment the efforts of the College in providing meaningful learning and a generally enriching experience during a student’s stay at the College. In this auxiliary role, the specific objectives of the IMC are:

A. To initiate, assist and organize various extra-curricular activities, including:
(i) social evenings
(ii) debates and quiz shows
(iii) dramatics
(iv) sporting events

B. Invite guest speakers at College to lecture on topics of student’s interest.
C. Pursue activities that promote the professional interests of the students and are consistent with the College mission and policies.

ICBS is conducting elections to select the new Student Management Club (SMC) for next three semesters. The SMC will have an executive student council of five members who will serve as the primary consultative body. Two groups of five students each were nominated to participate in the elections. Sami Abdul Sattar, Faisal Baig, Muhammad Qasim, Zulfiqar Ali Junejo and Hassaan Asghar belong to the Aryans group. The opponent group “Avatar” includes Ali Imran, Mansoor Tariq, Sultan Mehmood, Ahmed Mustafa and Sarah Kamal. Both groups have 7 days i.e. Tues Oct 6th-Oct 12th, 09 to run their campaign. In these seven days they are putting their posters, distributing brochures and convincing the students to vote. The debate competition will be held among the parties on Tuesday, Oct 13th, 09. Voting will be done on Oct 15th, 09. The winner will be announced on Friday, Oct 16th, 09. The elected President will take the oath on the same day.
