QUESTION ANSWER SESSION

The house was open for an interactive question and answer session. Students put many interesting questions. Some of them are given below:

» Why fresh graduates are not treated well in the organizations?
» Why youngsters without experience get exploited when they go looking for jobs?
» Why the companies do not groom its employees?
» Why are the interviewers not flexible with the new graduates at the time of interview?
» Which is more beneficial? Working with the multinational companies or local seth run companies?

Dr. Azmat said that students should do their homework before going for an interview and without expectations. Mr. Talal said “Multinationals provide more opportunities for growth & learning than the local seth companies. Ms. Shirmeen disagreed and said that there is job insecurity and lack of direct contact with the higher management in multinationals than in local seth run companies. She has a preference to be working with the seths.

Mrs. Fakhar Ahamd ended the seminar with the words of thanks. She said that there must be a will to rise and hard work always pays.

Dr. Azmat was requested to hand over the souvenirs to the alumni. Photographs were taken at the end.

Everybody was treated with pizzas for lunch. The alumni felt honored as they were invited to come and speak in the Alumni Success Stories Seminar.
