THE EXECUTIVE MBA PROGRAM
The
Executive MBA Programme has been structured specifically to meet
the professional career goals of executives. The courses have been
designed and taught with a practical orientation that builds on
a strong theoretical foundation. Specifically selected faculty who
bring to the classroom a wide range of practically theoretical and
professional backgrounds, teach these courses. The basic objective
is to equip business executives and professionals with the state
of the art management theories and techniques and to train managers
who can analyse and solve complex and complicated business problems
in a dynamic environment.
The
classroom learning in the Executive MBA is based heavily on the
“case-study method”. This is further enriched by the
class interaction and participation that draws upon the individual
backgrounds of the executives. The Executive MBA is highly distinctive.
The course work is supplemented by especially designed short workshops
on important business skills that are usually difficulty to teach
within the traditional course format. Another important source of
learning are the “guest lectures” by distinguished senior
executives and business leaders who are regularly invited to address
the students.
