CBER has a multifunctional setup. With fully equipped library and computer network, CBER provides: Guidance to students in title search, topic search, material hunts for writing Term Projects/Term Papers and access to published reports and journals for secondary data collection.
CBER FORUMThe CBER is primarily established to provide facilities to promote academic studies and to complete research work as a part of various degree programs. In fact, CBER functions as an extension to the existing well equipped library. The enrolled students at Imperial College of Business Studies and the alumni are primarily focused to be the major beneficiaries of the CBER activities. The Student Management Club of ICBS is to be given responsibility to perform as a host on various occasions when seminars and discussion groups are to be organized. To activate students at the initial level of their learning, the CBER will arrange short courses on such topics as “How to write Term Papers/Research Assignments and Term Projects. The idea is to cultivate and train students and improve their academic performance. The CBER would like to encourage students/alumni and the faculty to participate in the promotion of research culture and use CBER as an effective platform to achieve this goal. Management BoardThe CBER is making all the arrangements to publish research journal on annual basis. Considering the quantum of students enrolled in our MS and M. Phil programs, the CBER will provide ample opportunities for the contributors to publish their work. The CBER on its own is to encourage students, alumni and the faculty to hold discussion forums, seminars and day-long workshops for creating research culture. A small Management Board to organize the activities of the CBER is established to streamline the function and oversee the activities of the CBER. The Members include the following:
